This city is a metropolitan city filled with all of the energy of a major metropolis yet with a unique culture and regional identity that sets it apart from all other cities and areas in all of Japan.

This city is full of modernism and the futuristic viewpoint and that can be seen through architecture, street culture and underground shopping malls that this city possesses.

Osaka is unique in that it has a large amount of museums in the city. The National museum of Art to the Osaka science Museum and the Osaka Museum of History are just to name a few. If you are a nature lover you can check out Osaka’s aquarium or the Osaka Castle park to get a tranquil and peace filled escape from the noise and busyness of the vibrant city. There are Temples in the city and very friendly Japanese people to greet you and start a conversation and welcome you with open arms in this city. This particular city is known for the overall friendliness of the people. The Japanese are willing to talk with you and start conversations and interact even if you are not from their region and that is an added bonus when considering visiting this premier city. This city is also known for its tremendous food culture. Food is a main focus in this city with some of the best restaurants in Japan. Food is a central focus and for the seasoned traveler this is a plus.
